The exhibitors at iba 2009:

• 1,079 exhibitors from 55 countries, 43 percent of which were from Germany
• 79,532 visiting trade professionals from 157 countries, 47 percent of whom were from Germany
• 81 percent of exhibitors rated their success at iba 2009 as good or excellent – three percent more than in 2006 
• The exhibitors comfortably achieved their goals. How they rated the event in the following areas: Scheduling follow-up business: 85 percent good or excellent 
• Communication of information for the range of products on offer: 92 percent good or excellent 
• Presentation of new products/services, further developments & innovations: 88 percent good or excellent 
• Around 70 percent of exhibitors entered into new business relationships and closed new deals there and then 
• Nine out of ten exhibitors gave top marks (good or excellent) for the quality of visitors 
• 76 percent of exhibitors say: "We're coming back!"

The visitors at iba 2009:

• 65 percent of the visiting trade professionals were 'decision-makers' 
• 90 percent of the visiting industry professionals rated the range of products/services on show at the trade fair as good or excellent! 
• 94 percent of the visiting trade professionals gave iba 2009 top marks (good or excellent)!
