The most innovative products and developments in the bakery and confectionery trade have once again received highly coveted awards at iba 2015. Following the winners, you can find out about the trends that will drive the industry in the years to come.
The trade magazine Backtechnik Europe awarded on September 14, 2015 at the iba forum (B3.230) the coveted iba award. This international prize for innovation was awarded for technological solutions that are shown for the first time at iba, and which provide significant improvements – both from a quantitative and qualitative aspect – for line production in large scale operations.
The winners of the award were determined by an independent panel of judges made up of scientists, practitioners and trade journalists. Members of iba award jury in addition to the Backtechnik editors were representatives of the baking technology: Prof. Dr. Thomas Becker (TU Munich), Prof. Michael Kleinert (ZHAW Wädenswil), Willy Weiler (winner Backtechnik production company of the year) and Norbert Lötz (Harry Brot ).
These companies are the Award winners of 2015: König Maschinen, Rondo Burgdorf AG, Werner & Pfleiderer Lebensmitteltechnik, Fritsch GmbH and Rego Herlitzius GmbH.
