iba 2023: registration opens for exhibitors

Exhibitors for iba, the world's leading trade fair for the baking and confectionery industry, can register now. The international trade event for experts of the global bakery industry will at last be held live once again. iba will open its doors and invite the world’s bakers to gather at the Fairground Munich from 22 - 26 October 2023.

iba.Connecting Experts sets the course for 2023

iba.Connecting Experts networked the global baking industry with two digital events in 2021: a total of 8,304 unique users from 136 countries met up on the virtual platform across the world. 14,745 registrations and 6,360 minutes of knowledge transfer were recorded as part of the online presentations with renowned experts. The course is thus set for the 2022 business year and a live reunion at the iba 2023.

The Countdown is on: today, iba.Connecting Experts opens its virtual doors again. Change of leadership: Cathleen Kabashi hands over the baton to Susann Seidemann

GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen mbH announces that Susann Seidemann will take over the management of iba with immediate effect. Seidemann is thus Director of iba and responsible for the future and development of the world's leading trade fair for the baking and confectionery industry. In her new role, she reports to Cathleen Kabashi, who is taking on new tasks within GHM as the Director Business Unit B2B trade fairs.

iba postponed to October 2023

The organiser of the world's leading trade fair iba, GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen mbH, is postponing iba 2021. The next trade fair is set to take place in Munich from 22nd to 26th of October 2023. This is a result of there being no certainty that the trade fair will be able to maintain its international character — a decisive success factor for the event — and the need to provide the industry with a global offer and long-term planning security.

iba.CONNECTING EXPERTS successfully links the global baking industry

After 72 hours of global networking, professional lectures and presentations on innovations, iba.CONNECTING EXPERTS has closed its virtual doors. With its premiere, the networking event expanding the portfolio of iba was a success across the board: 6,031 participants (unique user) from 131 countries took part in the virtual format from March 15th to 17th 2021.
