How do I get to iba?

The easiest way to reach iba is by public transport.

Two subway stations ("Messestadt West" and "Messestadt Ost") are located directly at Fairground Messe München and ensure a comfortable journey. From the city center you can reach the exhibition center in about 20 minutes by the underground line U2.

Where to park?

You will find ample parking directly at the Fairground Munich.

Parking for visitors:

  • Parking space P7 and P8: 10,00 € per day
  • Car Park West: 12,00 € per day

Parking for busses:

  • Parking space P7: 20,00 € per day

Parking spaces for visitors with limited mobility:

You will find disabled parking spaces in sectors A and B on all levels of the Carpark West, near the exits and lifts. Visitors with a disabled pass indicating a severe lack of mobility can park for free: for this, please collect a free ticket from the parking facility management office in the car park, sector B, floor O by presenting your disabled pass.

Where do I buy tickets and how much do they cost?

The ticket sale for iba 2021 starts in April 2021.

What are the opening times?

iba 2021 takes place from 24. - 28. October 2021 at Fairground Munich. Opening times are:

Sun. - Wed.:09:30 a.m. - 06:00 p.m
Thu.:09:30 a.m. - 05:00 p.m

Where do I find the site plan?

The site plan will be available in good time before iba 2021.

Where do I get the visitor guide?

The visitor guide of iba is free of charge. You can get it at any infocounter at the trade show and at the cash desks beginning from fair start onwards.

Where are wardrobes and lockers?

You can find the wardrobes and lockers on the lower level of the Entrance West.

Wardrobes:

  • For a fee
  • Opening times: 09:30 a.m. - 07:30 p.m.

After this, any unclaimed clothing will be brought to the lost and found. The lost and found is located in the security centre in the trade fair complex, at Gate 1 (Willy-Brandt-Allee 1, 81829 Munich), and is open for 24 hours a day.

Lockers:

  • Cost: 1,00 € for each time they are locked

The lockers are only suitable for hand luggage. Larger items of luggage can be left securely at the wardrobe.

Is the trade fair accessible?

The Munich trade fair centre is completely accessible. The access areas, entrances, halls, and elevators are all designed to be wheelchair accessible. Our services for visitors with limited mobility:

  • The entire trade fair centre is equipped with wheelchair-accessible lifts, allowing you to seamlessly transition between levels. The lifts can be found at the north-side of hall C.

Wheelchair rental

  • Mechanical wheelchairs can be borrowed in exchange for a 100,00 € cash deposit. Please report to the information counter at the North entrance.

iba is the leading world fair of bakery and confectionery craft. At our digital marketplace you can find exhibitors, products, solutions and new products - very simple and uncomplicated. Let yourself be inspired!

Where do I find the programme?

The programme for iba 2021 will be available from August 2021 onwards.

Are food and beverages offered?

All over the fairground you will find many gastronomic offers, all well signposted, with a rich selection of food and drinks. Our tip: The Bavarian delicacies and specialties in the iba.OKTOBERFEST TENT!

Is Wi-Fi offered?

At iba you will always be connected. All the halls have free Wi-Fi access.

You can withdraw cash from the following nearby cash machines:

  • Entrance West – ground floor – right side
  • 1st floor at the expressway - passage between B3 and B4

Sparkasse

  • Entrance East - ground floor - passage to Hall B6

May I take my dog to the fair?

No, according to Messe München's house and user rules it is not allowed to bring animals onto the exhibition grounds with the exception of guide dogs and other assistance dogs.
